Common mistakes at 24x36"
- Dividing raw pixels by inches. It ignores the crop to 2:3 and overstates the DPI, sometimes badly.
- Upscaling and calling it 300 DPI. Resampling a small file up to 7,200×10,800 produces a file with the right dimensions and none of the detail. The metadata says 300 DPI; the print says otherwise.
