Why we do it this way
Most tools in this space give you a crippled free version — three exports, or the small sizes only, or a locked download button — and you find out whether the background removal actually handles fur after you have paid. That is backwards for a product whose whole job is to be trusted with a customer’s order.
So the free tier is the real thing. Run your worst photo through it. Run fifty. Look at the whiskers at 100%. If the cut-out is bad on your particular breed of fluffy dog, you will know before you spend anything, and you should not spend anything.
The trade is that free exports are watermarked heavily enough that they are not deliverable. You can evaluate with them; you cannot ship with them. When you are ready to ship, $19 is roughly one portrait order.
What a license key is, and is not
There are no accounts here. Stripe takes the payment, emails you a key, and you paste it into the app once. The key lives in your browser’s local storage and gets re-checked occasionally against Stripe, which is the only moment this site talks to a server at all.
We hold no database of users, no photo history and no order records, because there is nowhere to put them. That is also why there is nothing to breach.
Pricing questions
- What does the free tier actually include?
- The free tier is the complete tool — every print size, background removal, mockups, and batch processing, with no photo limit and no account. The one thing it does is stamp a petprintkit.com watermark across every image it exports, so free files are for checking your work rather than sending to a customer. A Pro license removes the watermark and changes nothing else.
- Is there a limit on how many photos I can process for free?
- No. No photo cap, no daily limit, no trial clock. Batch mode is in the free tier too. The only difference between free and Pro is the watermark on the exported images.
- How heavy is the watermark?
- Heavy enough that a free export is not something you would send a customer. It is tiled across the whole image rather than tucked into a corner. That is deliberate: the free tier exists so you can prove the tool works on your own photos before paying, not so you can quietly ship watermarked files.
- Do I need to create an account?
- No. Pro is a license key, not an account. You pay through Stripe Checkout, the key arrives by email, and you paste it into the app once. It is stored in your browser and validated periodically. There is no password to forget and no profile to delete.
- Is 149 dollars a year cheaper than paying monthly?
- Yes. At $19 a month the annual cost would be $228, so the $149 yearly price saves you $79 — a little over 4 months free.
- What happens to my files if I cancel?
- Nothing — they are already on your computer. There is no cloud storage to lose access to, because the tool never stored anything in the first place. If you cancel, the app keeps working and exports go back to being watermarked.
- Can I use one license on more than one computer?
- Yes, within reason. A license is meant for one seller, so use it on your laptop and your desktop freely. It is not intended to be shared across a team or a group of shops.
- Do you offer refunds?
- Yes, within 14 days, no questions asked. Given that the free tier is the complete product, you should already know exactly what you are buying before you pay — but if it turns out not to fit, email us and we will refund it.
